"Lou" the Movie

Lou, the movie, written, directed and coproduced by local girl, Belinda Chayko. Filmed in Murwillumbah and Cabarita and staring John Hurt and a number of locals. Lou is a tender story about the relationship between an 11 year old girl , her grandfather and the healing power of love. Check out the times at the Regent Cinema Murwillumbah. (Will be back on after the school holidays from 18 July).

Walks occur at 7.30am (NSW) every Thursday morning and the second Sunday of every month at a variety of locations throughout the Tweed. There are approximately 240 bird species in the Tweed from those found by the ocean and estuaries through to the hinterland forests.
